Lead Oenologist/Cellar Operator
The lead oenologist/cellar operator is the person who will be overseeing the entire project. They will be responsible for all wine production, as well as all the other divisions of the coop.
Expected time commitment: 10-20 hours a week
Oenologist
The oenologist is another position that is responsible for wine production. They will work closely with the lead oenologist to ensure wine production procedures are consistent with the Coop high quality standards.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years experience in wine making
- 2-3 years in wine industry.
- Capable of working independently or with team
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent organization skills
- Dependable, hard worker
Expected time commitment: 3-4 hours a week
Supplies Co-ordinator
The supplies coordinator is responsible for wine bottle collection, cleaning, and storage. They will also be responsible for maintaining rapport with supply stores and keeping cellar stocked with wine making supplies.
Qualifications:
- Capable of working independently or with team
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent organization skills
- Dependable, hard worker
- G class license + means of transportation
Expected time commitment: 1-2 hours a week
Cellar Manufacturer
The cellar manufacturer is responsible for all construction projects required by the coop. This includes things such as cellar construction, facilities repair/construction, and trellising repair/construction.
Qualifications:
- 1 – 2 years experience in construction field
- Capable of working independently or with team
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent organization skills
- Dependable, hard worker
- Owns his/her own tools
Expected time commitment: 1-2 hours a week
Website & Graphic Designer
The website and graphic designer is responsible for creating and maintaining the co-op’s website. Weekly updates will be required to the website
Qualifications:
- 1 – 2 years experience in specific field
- Capable of working independently or with team
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent organization skills
- Dependable, hard worker

Graphic Designer (promotions)
The Graphic Designer (promotions) will be responsible for all the graphic work when it comes to business cards, brochures and another other promotional materials. They will work closely with both the lead oenologist and website graphic designer
Qualifications:
- 1 – 3 years experience in graphic design. (degree or diploma preferred)
- Capable of working independently or with team
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent organization skills

Promotions team (3)
The promotions team will be responsible for promoting the Esson Estates Winery Coop through the media, magazines, brochures and other means. They will be the go to for public relations and will be responsible for recruiting new members to the coop.
Qualifications:
- Communications degree or diploma preferred or 1 – 3 years similar experience
- Capable of working independently or with team
- Outgoing

Sponsorship Executive
The sponsorship executive is responsible for finding sponsors for the coop. There are some costs associated with running any organization. By raising funds through sponsorship these costs can be paid for.

- Outgoing
- Interpersonal skills.

City Estates Coop Initiative positions
Director
The Director will be overseeing the entire City Estates Coop Initiative. They will need to coordinate all the team together from the beginning of the season until its end.
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma preferred
- Manager/Director experience (2 – 3 years)
- Capable of giving direction
- Excellent problem solving skills
- G Class license
- Strong communication skills (writing, public speaking)
- Excellent organization skills
- Dependable, loyal, hard worker
Lead Horticulturalist
The lead horticulturalist will be responsible for coordinating the efforts of the horticultural division of the Coop. They will be responsible for the production and planting of the Coop owned plants.
Qualifications:

- G Class license

- Excellent organization skills

Lead Viticulturist
The lead viticulturist position is very similar to the lead horticulturalist, except that the person who chooses this position will be focusing on grape production. This includes the cloning, grafting and growing of grapes.

Maintenance Team Leader

- Manager/Director experience (2 – 3 years)
- Capable of leading a team of people
- G Class license
- Strong communication skills (writing, public speaking)

Maintenance Team (5-20)
The maintenance team will be responsible for the weekly maintenance of the various estate locations. This will include planting, fertilizing, pruning, watering and harvesting.
Qualifications:
- Minimal G2 Class license
- Excellent organization skills

Promotions/Recruitment Team (2)
The promotions team will be responsible for finding new locations to grow crops for the Coop. This will involve research, telephone interviews and in person interviews with potential coop land owners.

Property Owners Team
This is the team of property owners who have signed up to have crops grown on their property for the coop
