This is an introduction to how the Esson Estate Winery Co-op works and how you can become more involved in the world of wine and wine making.
The purpose of the Esson Estates Winery Co-op is to bring people together who share a common interest in wine and wine making. It is an excellent opportunity to learn from others, gain experience and enjoy your past-time with friends and family. It has been said that making and drinking wine is in itself its own culture. Let this be our chance to fully immerse ourselves in this culture and become truly aware of its complexities and technicalities. Cheers!
A Note from the Cellar Operator
This cooperative has been in the making for sometime now. Since I started making wine I have experimented with many unique varieties. Some have been fantastic, and some well, not so great – but I always learned something new. One thing that I have learned along the way is that it pays to have people around you who can offer suggestions and options for how to better your wine. I hope that by joining this co-op you will get to try lots of diverse varieties of wines and hopefully even experiment a little with new recipes and ideas. Part of making something new is the feeling of accomplishment when it succeeds. I look forward to meeting lots of new faces and hearing lots of great wine success stories.
